- Andrew: Peter’s brother, a fisherman, and the first disciple called.
- James (the Greater): Son of Zebedee, fisherman, brother of John.
- John: Son of Zebedee, known as "the beloved disciple," author of the Gospel of John.
- Philip:From Bethsaida, brought Nathanael to Jesus.
- Bartholomew: Often identified as Nathanael.
- Thomas: Known as Didymus (Twin), famous for doubting the resurrection.
- Matthew: A tax collector (also called Levi).
- James (the Less): Son of Alphaeus.
- Jude/Thaddaeus: Son of James, sometimes called Judas (not Iscariot).
- Simon the Zealot: Also called Simon the Canaanite.
