“My soul doth magnify the Lord” proclaimed Jesus’ mom Mary when she went to visit her cousin Elizabeth (they both were pregnant! Elizabeth with John the Baptist and Mary with Jesus!)

Mary loved the Lord and was a modest and humble woman, she sought no adoration or praise upon herself, in the prayer she was amazed that God chose HER, and that all nations would call HER blessed… this is a testament of her humility, she too praises God in heaven, she is not a goddess or whatever to be worshipped, or prayed to. She was one of us.
